We bought our camera today... a Canon Rebel T2i digital SLR plus a macro lens and telephoto lens, a tripod, and a couple of bags. We also bought a book on how to really use the camera. It came to more than we spent on the chair! Still, it's money well-spent, as they say. The battery is charging up now and we can hardly wait to try it out. I'd like to take photos of the things I've made in my metalsmithing class, for example, and we want to try taking pictures of the birds outside. And when my glasses come in, we'll take a picture of me wearing them.
While we wait for the battery to charge, we're taking it easy. Ian ended up being woken in the middle of the night for work and he's having a nap to catch up on sleep. Tonight we'll watch tv unless Ian goes to work to play video games (some people are getting together) or has to work from home.
Yep, our life is pretty boring. That's a good thing, though, right?
