There's something irresistible about a baby that age. So helpless and cute but past that initial stage of looking marinated. Not old enough to cry constantly but not lying there like a lump anymore. You just want to pick them up and say stupid baby talk thinks. And the smells. Baby powder and unsalted crackers and newborn hair.
